About the Crawford County Bar Association

On March 12, 1800, Crawford County was formed from the Northwest portion of Allegheny County. On July 6, 1800, the first court proceedings occurred in the new county. Out of these small beginnings, Crawford County grew, and so did the legal needs of its residents. Eventually, the Crawford County Bar Association was founded.

Since its formation, the association has strived to make the legal profession both functional and accessible to our fellow community members. In the 21st century, this means we are an incredibly active organization. Our lawyers, Judges, and advocates all strive to stay focused and up to date on the legal issues facing our community today and into the future. Whether that is preparing cost-free wills for our community’s aging veterans, or by opening up the Judicial Center to public tours, this Bar Association is serving the residents of Meadville, Linesville, Titusville, and everywhere in-between.

Whether you are looking for a referral for Pro-Bono services or contact information for one of the members to assist you with a legal matter, or if you simply need to talk to a lawyer about a criminal case you are involved in, that information is accessible here.

Thank you for visiting the Crawford County Bar Association. We look forward to helping you with your legal needs.
